Zenaida earned her bachelor's degree in nursing and was a proud Registered Nurse. She moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 1964, where she began building a life centered on family and dedication to those around her. In 2000, Zenaida moved to Indiana. She cherished her role as a grandmother and took great joy in being a part of her grandchildren's everyday lives.
Above all, Zenaida loved her family and treasured the time they spent together. A woman of deep and unwavering faith, she was incredibly devoted to the Lord, and her faith remained a guiding presence throughout her life. She was also an enthusiastic Indiana sports fan and loved cheering on her favorite teams. Zenaida had a passion for fashion and enjoyed spending time at shopping malls, thoughtfully curating a collection of stylish and fashionable pieces. She took pride in her personal style and had an eye for finding pieces that reflected her personality.
Zenaida is survived by her beloved husband, Florentino Buenaventura; her children, Judy Marie Mpistolarides (Paul Mpistolarides) and Brian John Buenaventura (Sarah Buenaventura); and her five grandchildren, Paul Ryne Mpistolarides (Suzanne Mpistolarides), Nicholas Jordan Mpistolarides (Kaitlyn Mpistolarides), Victoria Anne Mpistolarides, Bella Grace Buenaventura, and Nathan John Buenaventura.
