Zackary Houston Voss

November 26, 1980 — July 15, 2025

Bargersville

Indianapolis, Indiana – Zackary Houston Voss, 44, passed away on July 15, 2025. A gentle giant and devoted father, his cheesing smile, quick wit, and exuberant attitude will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Zack was born on November 26, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents Michael Voss and Angie (Chadwell) Cain. He graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to earn his electrician’s certificate. In 2023, he launched Voss Electric and quickly built a strong and successful reputation through his hard work and reliability.

Outside of work, Zack was a loyal Colts and Pacers fan, loved tracking his fantasy football team, and was always up for a poker night. He had a passion for music and spent countless unforgettable nights at concerts with his father — their bond made them the ultimate concert duo. Whether it was Metallica, Shinedown, or KISS, Zack felt most alive with music blasting and his dad by his side. He also deeply treasured the friendships he made during high school and stayed close with many of them throughout his life.

But most of all, Zack’s greatest pride and purpose was being a father to his daughter, Anjalea. The two shared an incredibly close bond. From their many trips to Kings Island, to concerts, movie nights, and spontaneous road trips, Zack made sure Anjalea’s childhood was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He never missed a moment and always showed up. He was the dad who made everyone feel welcome, protected, and truly cared for. To Anjalea, he wasn’t just a father — he was her rock, her biggest fan, and her best friend.

Zack is preceded in death by his mother, Angie Cain, and brother Joshua Voss. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Michael and Denise Voss; his beloved daughter, Anjalea Voss; siblings Amanda Jamieson (Todd) and Alex Voss (Connie Curry); uncles Terry, Tony, and Paul Chadwell; and nephews Easton Jamieson and Zayden Voss.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
