Yon H. Kiszewski, born on June 25, 1955, in Daegu, South Korea, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her journey across continents was marked by courage, devotion, and unwavering love for her family and faith.
In 1985, Yon came to the United States after falling in love with David Kiszewski in South Korea. The two married and shared more than 32 years together. They built a family that was the pride and joy of Yon’s life, welcoming two beautiful daughters.
Yon’s life was shaped by her steadfast determination and loving spirit. She was known by those close to her as stubborn but loving—a combination that made her both a resilient and deeply caring presence. She was a devoted Christian, her faith provided her with strength and grace throughout her life
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sarah Kiszewski, and her treasured granddaughters, Kaelyn and Alexis. Each day spent with them was held dear, and her nurturing influence will continue to guide them in the years to come.
Yon is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, David Kiszewski, and her late daughter, Elizabeth Kiszewski. The bonds they shared remain an enduring testament to her love and commitment.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, her absence felt deeply but her memory living on in the hearts and lives she touched. Yon's story is one of love, resilience, and faith—a legacy that will not be forgotten.
