Wyona R. Thompson

Wyona R. (Mimi) Thompson 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was born March 28, 1929 to Clarence and Millie Sherrard in Bloomfield, Indiana. Wyona worked for Eli Lilly for 22 years, retiring in 1992. She was a God fearing woman who loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her cats and dogs. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Linda Baker, Larry (Debra) Swan, Barry (Irmgard) Swan and Garry (Andrea Emery) Swan, ten granchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, Wyona was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband, Virgil Thompson and her 14 brothers and sisters. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held 10 am Monday, November 12, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
