Wyoma Gertrude Freeman, 83, of Speedway, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016. She was born on October 17, 1932 in Bedford, IN to Wilford and Susan (Allen) Flynn. Wyoma was a graduate of Oolitic High School and retired from Indiana National Bank after 25 years of service. She was a member of Westview Christian Church and enjoyed sewing. Wyoma also enjoyed traveling with family and friends; especially her trip to visit several museums in Washington D.C. She is survived by her daughters, Susie (George) Neal and Cindy Smith; daughter-in-law, Denise Freeman; grandchildren, Erica Niehaus, Ryan Smith, Katie Smith and Rachel Neal; great-grandson, Gabe Rivers. Wyoma was preceded in death by her father, Wilford Flynn; mother, Susan Winegar; step-father, William Winegar; husband, Kenneth R. Freeman; son, Kenneth D. Freeman; brothers Louis and Joseph Flynn. Funeral services for Mrs. Freeman will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will take place in the White River Baptist Church Cemetery, Buddha, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
