Winford "Pete" Curry 69 of Indianapolis passed away January 21, 2012 of an extended illness. He was born October 30, 1942 in Manchester, Kentucky, and graduated from Bush High School in London, Kentucky in 1962. Pete graduated from Carpenter's Apprenticeship and was a faithful member of Local 60 Carpenters and Joiners Union for 30 years until his retirement on 1998. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #17. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and bowler. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Loma Curry of Manchester, Kentucky. Pete is survived by his wife Sandy; children Mitchell, Kimberly Morgan and Shaun; seven grandchildren, and sisters Donna Smith of London, Kentucky and Connie Wagers of Manchester, Kentucky. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, from 4 to 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Burial will be in Manchester, Kentucky.
