Wilma Young

Wilma L. Young, 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Wilma was born on March 24, 1934, in South Shore, Kentucky to the late Orbey and Josephine Dorton.

Wilma enjoyed being a homemaker, while spending quality time with her loving family. She was a member of Garden City Christian Church. Her most precious love was being a wife to Fred L. Young of 63 wonderful years.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Young; daughters, Sharon E. Young, Janet F. Smith; sister, Velma Faires.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy K. Eacret (Dan); grandchildren, Colin Eacret (Sara), Kimberly Eakins (Evan), David Smith, Michael Smith; great grandchildren, Rowan Smith, Avery Eakins and son-in-law, Jim Smith.
