Wilma Jean Bryant, of Greenfield, Indiana, went to meet her Lord and Savior on December 26, 2013 after a long illness. Born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on June 20th, 1933, she moved to the Indianapolis area at a young age after the death of her mother. She was a graduate of Washington High School and shortly thereafter married her husband, Richard Bryant, in 1952. She worked for many years at Indiana National Bank on the night shift keypunch operations, and later at various other jobs during the same time she raised her family.
She had 3 children, Cynthia, Richard, and Michael, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren - all of whom she dearly adored. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bryant, who passed away in 2010 after 58 years of marriage. Wilma was always known as a very caring person, who would spend much of her free time with any friend or family member that was sick or confined to a hospital.
The Twenty-Third Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not
want. He maketh me to lie down in
green pastures; He leadeth me beside
still waters. He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff
they comfort me. Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup
runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house
of the Lord forever.
