Wilma May Harrington
Indianapolis, died June 24, 2013. She was born July 24, 1920 in Franklin, IN to Bert and Ione Myers. She worked as an EEG (electroencephalographic) technician at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis until she retired in December of 1980. She was a long standing member of Broadway United Methodist Church, singing in the choir, and member the Scottish Rite, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Alpha Pi Omega and Broadway Broads and volunteered at Goodwill Industries and the North United Methodist Bread and Bowl Soup Kitchen. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, June 27 at Broadway United Methodist Church.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John Henry Harrington. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Arden Harrington of Scottsdale, AZ; and three grandchildren Doug, Tom and Courtney Harrington.
