William Wright

William M. Wright, 62, of Zionsville, IN, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family on February 26, 2012. He had a distinguished career as a publishing executive. After getting an MBA from Temple University, he spent seven years at Johnson and Johnson, after which he went to work for CBS Publishing as director of distribution. Following a brief stint at Bantam Book, he became the chief operating office at Random House Inc. He finished his career at Hearst Book Group where he served as CEO. William is survived by his wife Chandra; daughter, Diana Wright Milkowski and her husband Matt; son Jason Wright; daughter, Brittany Brooks; son, Charles Brooks; and daughter, Corttany Brooks. He is also survived by sister, Karen Joly with her husband Alain; sister, Susan Russell and her husband Gilbert; brother, Robert and his wife Jo Marie; sister Judy Wright Muzyk, and eleven nieces and nephews. Lastly, he is survived by four grandchildren, Kevin, Jake, Lyla, and Mia. Visitation will be from 1pm to 4 pm, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan, 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville with a time for remembrances beginning at 4 pm.
