William Wallace Sirka

William Wallace Sirka peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2021, at the age of 94.  William was born on May 7, 1927.  He was predeceased by his parents, the late John and Anna Sirka, and was raised in Michigan City, Indiana.  He then lived in Indianapolis with his wife (Gloria Sirka) for over 60 years before moving to Estero, FL in 2014.

William taught Physical Education and Health at Broad Ripple High School for 36 years.  He coached various sports and led his wrestling and tennis teams to state championships. Survived by his daughters, Colleen (Michael) Bresson and Collette (William) Anderson, William was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

William was a believer and faithful follower of Jesus Christ.  He loved traveling, photography, playing and watching tennis and golf, and telling jokes.  He will be missed.
