William T “Bill” Revis
79, Passed away April 12, 2023. Born Dec 10, 1943, in Cincinnati, OH to John and Martha Revis. Bill was a proud US Marine, serving 1963-1968 as an Aviation Structural Mechanic in Quantico, VA. He was a railroader, retiring from CSX at the Avon Big Four Yard as a Conductor in 2004.
Bill was an accomplished seamstress, making a lot of his own clothes, a skill he acquired in the Marines as a parachute repairman. He loved to listen to the classical jazz sounds of Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges.
He was a big Harley-Davidson fan, owning several over the years. He participated in group rides and parades.
Bill was a generous and giving person with a gruff exterior and a kind heart. He was a true and genuine patriot who loved his church and his country.
