William Seward Hall,
72 of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. He was born on October 23, 1940 in Oak Park, IL to Curtis Beldon and Edythe Albertson Hall. Bill was a 1958 graduate of Bloomington High School and attended Indiana University.
Bill was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and was known to be a 'Jack of All Trades.' He was the Monroe Co. Sheriff Detective, Managed an Ace Hardware, was an Assistant Manager at the Adams Mark Hotel and was a self-employed craftsman. Bill was an Eagle Scout and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Emily Anne (Ward) Hall; children, Sharon (Mark) Smith, Suzanne (Chad) Sokol, Daniel (Lori) Hall; grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Bethany, Sarah and Emily; great-grandson, Andrew.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 4 until 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11am, also at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
Bill's family would like to thank the Care Group of St. Vincent Hospital and St. Vincent Home Hospice for the loving care and support they have provided.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or to St. Vincent Home Hospice.
