William Scanlon

William (Bill) Scanlon Fishers, passed away March 19, 2013 at the age of 83. Bill is the son of the late Edward and Bernadette (O'Conner) Scanlon. Bill is survived by his wife Marguerite (Crooks), daughters Susan Drinks (Jim) and Catherine Bonne (Henri), son-in-law Vince Failla, and grandchildren Elizabeth and Ben Bonne, Jimmy, David and Emily Drinks. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Patricia Scanlon. Bill was a longtime member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Fr. Thomas J. Kelley Council #6923. Bill attended American University Washington D. C., Notre Dame, and I U School of Law. He worked at Eli Lilly Co. for 35 years as an organic chemist then a patent attorney. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 23rd in St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, with visitation there beginning at 10:00a.m. Memorial contributions in Bill's honor may be made to St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church 11441 Hague Rd.
