William Oral Burr

William Oral Burr, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away October 11, 2011. He is survived by his children, Debra Burr Gibson & Gregory A. Burr & wife, Kathleen, one brother, Lloyd, of Mississippi, one grandchild & numerous nephews & nieces. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy and second wife, Viola; three brothers & two sisters. He ended his career at IUPUI in the Maintenance Department prior to his 1980 retirement. He recently lived at GreenTree at Post Road where he leaves behind many friends. He loved all those who gave him such kind, loving care at GreenTree. Services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, with burial at Washington Park East Cemetery and a reception following, which will be held at Flanner & Buchanan.
