William Leroy King

William Leroy King Jr., 65 of Indianapolis, Indiana died Tuesday, December 23, 2013 at home with family by his side. William was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on March 10, 1948. He was born to Betty Stranahan King Myers. His father was William Leroy King Sr. William owned and operated King's Backflow Prevention and retired from Eli Lilly. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Helen and John Stranahan, paternal grandparents Orville and Alice King, brother Paul Wayne Myers, sister Bobbie Jo Myers Hammond, brother-in-law Bill Hedden. William is survived by Sheila Knotts, granddaughters Kyla (Pat), Melissa Turner, grandsons Austin, Nickolas and Brandon Knotts, great-grandchildren Leia Turner, Gabriel Robinsons, Gianni Leroy, Ray Turner. Also, two step children Billy Knotts (Sheri) and Kimberly Turner. Siblings, Jean (Richard) Crumcin, Shirley Hedden, Mary (Augustus) Scank, Charles King, Jim (Lisa) King, Fred (Jane) Archer and Alice Fagg. Many nieces, nephews grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425N. Holt Road Indianapolis. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11:00 am.
