William Lee “Bill” Kight, 79, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away September 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Sondra Kight, parents Clifford and Margaret Kight, and brothers Clifford Kight, Rolland Kight and Robert Kight.
As a young man William attended Central Business College while he worked in the personnel department at Electric Steel Castings Company in Speedway. He later worked in safety equipment sales for Safety Corporation and Orr Safety, both in Indianapolis. He was also a Mended Hearts volunteer. He was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Westfield, Indiana. William was a private pilot and enjoyed many other activities including amateur radio and car restoration.
William is survived by his daughters Suzanne (Michael) Amiss and Connie Kight, granddaughter Abigail Amiss, and sister Carol (Tom) Tague. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at 10:30 at Acton Cemetery.
