William L. Linhart

William L. "Bud" Linhart, Sr. 87 years old, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. William was a member of the Wesleyan Church for 34 years, he was also a member of the Beech Gove Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, and Golden Shepard's. William was employed with Chrysler for many years before his retirement, and volunteered with Methodist Hospital for 22 years. He served proudly in the Korean War with the United States Army. William is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley Linhart; son, Bill Linhart, Jr. (Mary); grandchildren, Amber Kay Proffitt, Joshua Michael Proffitt, Matthew Linhart (Elvira), and Zachary Linhart (Sandra). Great grandson, Bobby Linhart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel Clive and Eddie Mae Linhart; daughter, Judy K. Proffitt; siblings, Juanita Schooley and Doris Roberts.
