William James 'Bill' Irwin

William James "Bill" Irwin 61, Norwalk, Connecticut, died unexpectedly on June 16, 2015. He was born in Indianapolis to the late H. William and Sally L. Irwin. Bill graduated from Pike High School and DePauw University, where he was an active member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He is survived by his brother, Mike (Suzanne) Irwin, two nieces, Stephanie (Jeff) Quinto and Emeli (Matt) Bowers, and the four children of his nieces, Nick and Lauren Quinto and Lilly and Will Bowers. Bill engaged in a number of careers throughout his life, the most notable being in the restaurant and gourmet food and vegetable businesses. He liked being surrounded by his friends and loved planning and throwing parties for them. While his life had its ups and downs Bill always kept a positive and upbeat attitude and a sense of humor. He closely followed sports, politics, and world events, and had a wealth of knowledge in these areas. He was liked by all he met. There will be a family service for Bill later this summer in the place he and his family love the best, Pentwater, Michigan.
