William H. Johnson

William H. Johnson of Greenfield, died January 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 92. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a lifetime member of the VFW. William is survived by his wife of 66 years Phyllis J. Johnson; children Carol Lee Johnson, Robert E. (Linda) Johnson, Gary D. (Jeanne) Johnson, Pamela Sue (Sid) Newman, Terry Lee Johnson, Douglas (Maggie) Johnson, and Todd (Debbie) Johnson; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and sisters Betty Jean Stevens and Eva Mae Clapp. He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth Wayne Johnson and six siblings. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 24 at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
