William Gerber

William "Bill" Gerber passed away at home Tuesday, February 7, 2012; he was 77 years old. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and a brother. He married Carol Cooprider in 1954; she survives him. Together they had four children, Pam Sheets (Larry), Patty Barb (Gary), Gregg Gerber, and Sandi Gerber. Additional survivors include 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his sister, Marilyn Lozier, several nieces and nephews. Bill worked at Indiana Bell for almost 38 years, retiring in 1990. In retirement, Bill enjoyed playing golf several times a week with his friends. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Friday, February 10, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hutton Cemetery, Zionsville. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
