William Cornell Griffith

William Cornell Griffith 95 of Brownsburg formerly Indianapolis died December 05, 2011. William was born on April 06, 1916 in Granville, Ohio to Herbert Effingham and Bessie Mildred (Cornell) Griffith. William was a farmer in Granville, Ohio and here in Indianapolis before and after he served our country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was also a custodian for Pike High School for 22 years before he retired in 1986 . He was the oldest member of Traders Point Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 08, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis, In 46228 from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday December 09, 2011 at 10 AM with one hour of calling prior to the service at the funeral home. William is survived by his son Jerry (Karen) Griffith stepsons Carl (Norma) Nusbaum and Riley (Betty) Nusbaum nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and a brother Donald Griffith of Granville, Ohio.
