William C. Mooneyhan Jr.

William (Bill) Mooneyhan, Jr was born January 11, 1945. God called him home on May 23, 2021 at age 76. Bill had success in aggressively overcoming prostate cancer but succumbed during emergency open heart surgery. Bill lived his childhood in Indianapolis, IN graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 1963. He joined the Air Force in 1965 retiring in 1985. The Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard will perform military honors. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Heather Hills Baptist Church, 1421 N German Church Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife Ginny, daughters Cheryl (Rob) Davila (WA), Carmen (Ron) Walter (AZ), son Grant Eldridge (IN), sister Kathe Davis-Harris (IN), 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many other loving relatives, special friends and his cat Punkie.

He was preceded in death by his parents William C. and Esther L. Mooneyhan and brother Stephen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, June 5th at 10:00 am with the service following at 11:00 am at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
