William Phillippe

William “Bill” Otis Phillippe, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 21, 2016.
Born on November 17, 1926 to the late Daniel Maynard and Alzena Claire Phillippe in Frankfort, Indiana. Bill graduated from Mulberry High School and attended Purdue University prior to entry into the United States Army where he served during WWII. After returning home from his service Bill met the love of his life Barbara, and they were married for 60 years before her passing in 2010. His favorite past time was playing euchre and it was hard to find anyone who could beat him.
Bill is survived by his 3 children, Neil Phillippe, Deborah Lanier (Michael), Patricia Terek, and Valerie Phillippe, 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and 6 siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 siblings, and his wife.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm, with a funeral service to take place on Friday, February 26th at 11:00am at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East.
