William 'Bill' Fredrick Strouce

March 18, 1930 — February 10, 2013

William "Bill" Frederick Strouce, 82 of Indianapolis died on February 10, 2013. Bill was born on March 18, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Martha (Edwards) Strouce. Bill graduated from Plainfield High School in 1948. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Bill worked for 31 years as a fan fabricator for Schwitzer Corp which became Borg Warner Corp. Bill was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. He married his high school sweetheart of 62 years, Frances I. (Crisp) Strouce on September 01, 1950 in Indianapolis. Bill is also survived by his loving daughters, Karen L. (John) Welch and Rebecca J. (Kirk) Miller and his beautiful grandchildren Lisa (Tyler) Welch-Stepsis, Sam Welch and Jacob Miller and his precious great granddaughter Claire Stepsis. Calling will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 10 am to Noon followed by the funeral service at Noon in the funeral center.
