William Arthur Robb Stewart, Sr.

William Arthur Robb Stewart Sr. 93 of Plainfield, IN died on July 09, 2016. Mr. Stewart was born on February 05, 1923 in Renfro, Scotland to Moses Buchanan and Christina (Scott Robb) Stewart. He was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church. Bill served our country in the Army during WWII. Bill retired after 41 years as a Design Engineer with Allison Gas Turbine and Allison Transmission both a Division of General Motors. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances Juanita (Clayton) Stewart. Calling will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 4 to 8 pm followed by the funeral service on Thursday July 14, 2016 at the funeral center at 10 am. Mr. Stewart is survived by his children William A. (Mary Ellen) Stewart Jr. and Judy Stewart (Marvin) Kennedy and two grandchildren Erin (Derek) Rhudy and Dr. Ellen Christina Stewart and two great grandchildren Reese and Rowan Rhudy.
