Willa Tremain

Willa “Jo” (Buell) Tremain, age 86, of Greenfield, passed away June 19, 2017. She was born on April 18, 1931 in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Clifford Gail and Leota Ruth (Bayless) Buell. She married Robert “Bob” L. Tremain Sr. on January 30, 1949 at Roberts Park United Methodist Church. They shared 68 years together.

Jo attended Arsenal Technical High School. She was previously employed by L.S. Ayres and American Greetings Corporation. Jo loved spending time with her family. She hosted Sunday dinner at home, where she enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, spending time on her Kindle and keeping up with her family on Facebook.

Jo will be lovingly missed by her husband, Bob Tremain Sr.; children, Robert Tremain Jr., John (Carolee) Tremain, Gail (Kevin) Ryan and Barbara (Jerry) Jansen; grandchildren, Jeff Tremain, Jennifer Hedges, James Ryan, Stephanie Ryan, Joe Jansen, Bobby Ryan, Meghan Jansen, Brian Jansen and Erin Jansen; great-grandchildren, Ashlynne and Quentin Hedges, Evan Tremain, Brevyn, Jameson, Raelyn, Parker and Reese Ryan; and her brother, Tom (Sandy) Buell. Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Donna Larrabee and Jean Goebel.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10am until 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm. Entombment will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
