Wendy Marie Byard

Wendy Marie Byard March 12, 1973 – November 6, 2011 A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Wendy graduated from the Atterbury Job Corps Center as a certified heavy equipment operator and loved the outdoor physically demanding work. In July of 2007 she was diagnosed with stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She leaves behind her two greatest treasures in her sons, AJ and Jaylen. At age 12 Wendy accepted the greatest treasure an individual can possess by believing in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving His gift of eternal life. Survivors include her sons, mother, Debby (Tom) Poulsen and father, Dale (Jenny) Byard, and family members too many to list. Contributions can be made to the Wishard Embrace Foundation where she received love and superior care throughout her battle.
