Wendy L. Rismiller

Wendy L. Rismiller, 48, of Westfield, IN, passed away on January 15, 2021. Wendy was born in Rapid City, SD, on September 27, 1972, the daughter of Roger and Elizabeth (Simons) Schoenmeyer. Wendy married the love of her life, Brian, on April 22, 1995. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Libby and Addison. Wendy had an eye for design, always having a home improvement project in the works. She had an eclectic taste in music and loved to travel, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.  She was always active with her daughters’ soccer teams and 4-H llama projects.  She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Wendy is survived by her parents; husband of 25 years, Brian Rismiller; two daughters, Libby and Addison; sister, Lindsay (Carl) Schumaier; father-in-law, Tim Rismiller; sister-in-law, Beth (David) Boblitt. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Donna Rismiller. Due to Covid restrictions the memorial service will be private but friends are invited to view the service at 4 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 using this link: click here. Immediately following the services, there will be a Celebration of Life reception at the Carmichael Hotel, 1 Carmichael Square, Carmel, IN 46032.  Due to Covid restrictions guests with the last names A-L are welcome from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m.; M-R from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and S-Z from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The Carmichael Hotel will also be livestreaming the memorial service at 4 p.m. for friends and family who wish to view at their facility.
