Welby M. Key

Welby M. Key 75 of New Palestine, IN lost his battle with ALS on May 31, 2015. He was born October 18, 1939 in Tanbark, Kentucky. Welby founded Key Sheet Metal in 1994 with his son, David. He was an avid fisherman and loved to be with friends on a lake anywhere. A grandchild said recently that he was "a man with a golden heart". Welby was preceded in death by his parents, Ack and Esther Key, a brother, Shelby and a baby brother and his former wife, Carol Zook Key. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Elaine Wallace Key, his four children, Steven (Chris), David (Pat), Brad (Jenny), Jennifer Key, step daughter, Kristen Love, his sisters, Carolyn (Wilson) Taylor and Betty (Louis) Smith, his brothers, Delton, Ira and Herman. He also leaves behind eleven wonderful and loving grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He will forever be loved and missed by his family.
