Wayne W. Markert

Wayne Walter Markert, 83, of Indianapolis died September 5, 2014. Mr Markert was born May 22, 1931. He married Cheryn Minor on September 1, 1956. She survives. Also surviving are daughter, Alison (Jeff) Case, three granddaughters, Eryn (Dave) Bassett, Abby (Colin) Campbell, and Clair (Steve) DeMint, and 2 great-grandsons, Rivers and Archer. Services will be Monday at Avon Christian Church at 11:30 am with the family present starting at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway handling arrangements.
