83 years old,of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016. Wayne graduatedfrom Arsenal Technical High School in 1952. He was a member of the VFW andAmerican Legion Post #495. Wayne was a veteran, serving his country proudly inthe United States Navy. He was employed for many years as a Lithographer/Printerwhich he loved, he was also an avid bowler, race, Colts, and Frank Sinatra fan.He loved to spend quality time traveling with his family, and he was known bymany for his dry sense of humor to all who knew him.

Wayne issurvived by his children, Karen Stafford-Carson, Jo Deen Murray, and JanetRobbins (Richard); grandchildren, Andre,Eric, Ashley, Jennifer, Matthew, and Julie; 7 great-grandchildren; brother,Raymond K. Stafford (Sandra); sister, Judy Sutton; loving canine companion,Sadie; brother-in-law, Roy Levin; along with many nieces and nephews. He was precededin death by his loving wife, Emily Smith-Stafford; parents, Arlie O. and ClaraStafford; sister, Arline Stafford-Levin and brother, Earl Evans (Dorothy).

TheCelebration of Life will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Flannerand Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis.

In lieu offlowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society,Disabled Veterans, or The Little Red Door.
