Wanita L. (Sprinkle) Clark 77 of Indianapolis died December 26, 2010. Wanita was born October 16, 1933 in Indianapolis to Oliver J. and Minnie L. (Reasen) Sprinkle. Wanita worked in quality control for Thompson Consumer Electronics where she retired in 1994. She was a very active member of St. Christopher Catholic Church where she shared her baking talents and was known as “The Cake Lady” when it was festival time at the church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Waldo Clark who was also very involved in the church food pantry. Calling will be held Wednesday December 29, 2010 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Speedway 2950 North High Scholl Road Speedway, IN 46224. An additional hour of calling will be held on Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church 5301 West 16th Street Speedway, IN 46224 with the mass beginning at 10:30 AM in the church. Wanita is survived by her children Linda K. (Don) Weilhamer, Deborah F. “Debbie” (Dennis) Wayt and Duane E. Clark, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and two sisters Kathleen Hobbs and Beverly (Don) Emerson. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Vincent Hospice 8450 North Payne Road Indianapolis, IN. 46268 or to the church. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
