Wanda M. Thomas

Wanda Marie Thomas, 85, of Greenfield, passed away October 20^th, 2023. She was born in Indianapolis, April 21^st, 1938, to parents Randall and Naomi (Rude) Barnes.

On September 3^rd, 1969, she married her husband, Ralph Thomas.

Wanda was a strong-willed, loving woman who simply enjoyed life. She held several jobs throughout her life and enjoyed her time as a homemaker. She and Ralph loved to travel and saw places all around the world. Wanda volunteered at Hancock Regional Hospital for many years and never turned down an opportunity to go shopping.

Wanda is survived by her children Gregory Allan (Beverly) Gilaspy, Perry Gilaspy, Debbie (Terry) Dick, and Terri Rush; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and one brother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph; two brothers and two sisters.

Memorial visitation will be Thursday October 26^th, from 1-2pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East; her service will begin at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
