Wanda Sue Edwards

Wanda Sue Edwards was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully on July 1, 2021 at age 67.

 She was born to the late Cecil and Betty Logan on September 13, 1953, in Indianapolis, IN.  She married the love of her life and amazing caretaker, Tom Edwards, on June 16th, 1992.  Together they enjoyed their shows and sitting on the front steps together watching the neighborhood. 

Her smile was infectious and her love for life was something to be admired.   Always laughing, even when the pain was just to much.  She had 3 children.  Twins, Leland and LeeAnn, who she’s now reunited with in Heaven and a daughter, Melissa (Rodger), who she loved dearly.   Her grandchildren, Bianca, Joey and Logan were everything to her, most days her reason for living.  She bragged about them to everyone she talked to! Her sisters Sharon (Charlie), Boots and Joyce were her best friends.  She was greeted with open arms in Heaven by her sister, Peggy.   She loved her friends and family very much; many cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Honoring her wishes, we will have a Graveside Service on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 at 3:00pm at Floral Park Cemetery on Holt Rd in Indianapolis, IN.  In lieu of flowers, for those who have reached out regarding our needs as a family during this time, know that we appreciate your support.
