Wanda Marie West

Wanda Marie West, 87, passed away on August 15, 2023.

She was born February 17, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Clarence and Lenora McWilliams.

She was a Graduate of Ben Davis. She married her husband Bill in November

of 1958, she raised three children, then entered the work force. She was a security guard for Pinkerton security at Wishard hospital from 1974 to 1978. From there she went to Security at Methodist Hospital where she retired in 2004 after 26 years. Her hobby was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Scott (wife Helena) West, Kathy West, and Lisa Robertson.

Grandchildren; Scott (wife Angi) West, Ashley, Bradley, Deanna Robertson.

Great Grandchildren; Brenden, Jaela, Aiden West, Jordan Robertson, Aisha Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Lenora McWilliams; Husband; Bill West.

Siblings; Virginia Joslen, Clarence, Herschel McWilliams

Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221, with entombment to follow in New Crown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at the same location.
