Walter Y. Matthews went home to be with the Lord on February 27th at age 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Anna and Alfred T.; brothers, William and Ray; his first wife, Dorothy I. Wilhite and second wife, Eleanor I. Simmons.
