Walter Timmons

Walter A. Timmons, 76, Indianapolis passed away April 16, 2015. He was born May 17, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Gilbert and Marie (Mahan) Timmons. Walter had worked for the Railroad, GM, and Rolls Royce. He served honorably in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed doing mechanical work, his yard work and being with family and friends Walter is survived by his daughters, Kim (Donnie) Cross, Alesha Womack and Vanessa Hickman; sons, Keith (Missy) Timmons and Tony (Gina) Crawford; 9 grandchildren;7 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Eddie) Roach; brothers, Ronald (Gloria) Timmons and Jim (Rita) Timmons He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Gregory) Timmons; a sister, Glenda Dinnerline and a brother, Steve Timmons. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Visitation will be 4 until 8 pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
