Walter Tabak

Walter M. Tabak 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 7, 2015. Walter was a retired Communication Chief for the Associated Press. He was an Army veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Tabak. He is survived by his daughter Barb (Dennis) Burris; son, Ron (Gloria) Tabak; grandchildren, Travis (Amy) Tabak, Kristin (Zach) Eichel and Tyler (Ashley) McCreary; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Kaliway, Maggie, Ethan and Kyle. Special thanks to his caregiver Mae Lasley. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). Services will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10 am in the Conner Suite. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
