Walter Stricker

Walter R. Stricker, 82 of Westfield, formerly of Carmel, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014. Walter was born July 12, 1931 in Beech Grove to the late Everett and Isabelle Stricker. He was a US Navy Veteran. Walter worked for the Howard W. Sams Company as camera man for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1989. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, May 3 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 2. Walter is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Stricker; children, Carol Stricker, Joyce (husband, Gary) Ward and David (wife, Sheri) Stricker; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
