Walter Ray Blankenship, 79, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
He was born December 29, 1935 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Immer Virgil Blankenship and Bertha Lee Johnson Blankenship.
He is survived by his sons Steven Ray Blankenship and Michael A. Blankenship; siblings Ben, Tom, Charlie, Ann, Rita, and Peggy; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of dear nieceS and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Roberta M. Blankenship, as well as sisters Sue and Joann.
