Wallace “Doug” Street, 65, of Jamestown, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home on March 18, 2021, from ALS. He was born on July 17, 1955, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Charlie and Eva Street (Warner). Doug was a 1972 graduate of Northwest High School and was on the ROTC drill team. He served in the United States Navy from 1972-1978, serving on the USS Truett. On April 26, 1974, he married his high school sweetheart, Darzell Zeiher. Doug was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time outdoors and spending time out at his farm property in Rockville. He enjoyed telling stories about seeing 300-pound deer on the property and how big the fish were in the lake. He was an avid TikTok’r known as user 1504433710732, following 9965 people and having 844 followers with 0 posts. Doug loved Disney (having been born the day Disneyland opened), with Tinkerbell being his favorite. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Darzell Street; two daughters, Gwen Street and Jessica (Doug) Pedigo; 3 grandchildren, Sydney, Olivia, and Jackson Pedigo; 2 brothers and 5 sisters, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and 1 sister. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, beginning promptly at 10:00 at Flanner-Buchanan Washington Park North.
