Viviano Gonzalez

Viviano Gonzalez, 22, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on August 14, 2025. He was born on November 25, 2002, in Mexico City, Mexico, to parents, Luis A Gonzalez and Fabiola Chavez.

Viviano was an amazing, kind, bright, funny, incredible person that touched so many lives in such a powerful light.

Viviano studied until middle school in Mexico City, then we move with his father and family to start High School. He graduated with academic honors from Westfield High School in 2021, he has chosen as a Westfield Way Banner presenter at his commencement. Viviano was member of the swimming team in his 4 high school years, member of the Lacrosse club for 2 years, member of the debate team for 2 years, he was member of the e-sports club, member of the Latern team.

Viviano received IUPUI International Jaguar Excellence award where he pursues a Sociology degree, and he will graduate in December 2025. He made dean’s list on Fall 2021; he was also pursuing a certificate in Information Technology that he would complete in December 2025.

Viviano first job was at Saladworks in Westfield, he worked there for a year and a half, he also worked as an intern at Westfield High School and IUPUI IT departments. Viviano served as an intern for 3 years at Legislative Service Agency at Indiana State Senate.

Viviano was an avid reader since he learned to read you can see him with a book under his arm, he also loved to write, he loved anime and Japanese manga, he loved to play anime video games and attend comic con. Viviano loved music specially classic rock, he loved to research about 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music.

Viviano is survived by his father Luis A. Gonzalez (Concepcion Leon); his mother, Fabiola Chavez; siblings, Carlos and Yael; Grandparents, Georgina and Carlos and Eva and Manuel; and his uncle Carlos.

A Memorial Service/Mass for Viviano will be at 12pm, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) – 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062, with a Memorial gathering to follow until 3pm.
