Visvaldis Irbe

Visvaldis Ilmars Irbe 81, of Avon, passed away on April 20, 2015. He was born on March 4, 1934 in Lielvarde, Latvia. He was a retired Union Carpenter for Local 60. He was a member of the Latvian Lutheran Church, Daugavas Vanagi and the Latvian Community Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah J. Riedel Irbe. He is survived by his children, Andre Hugo (Peggy) Irbe, Doug (Christine) Irbe and Michele (Gunvids) Jansons; grandchildren, Ethan, Mason and Rachel Irbe; sister, Valda Burgis and brother, Janis Irbe. Services will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11 am with calling one hour prior in the Latvian Lutheran Church, 801 W. 73rd St., Indpls., IN. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Latvian Lutheran Church or the Indianapolis Latvian School. Arrangements handled by Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
