Virginia A Roth Wilson, 82, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and passionate Bibliophile and Author, entered eternal rest September 14, 2025. Born February 6, 1943, in Plainfield, IN to the late Russell Roth and Frances Turner Roth. Virginia’s love for literature shaped her life and the lives of her family.
As a CPA and mother of three, Virginia transformed bedtime stories into magical adventures, and went on to write several books, both fiction & non-fiction. She published “The Mustard Seed” by Virgina Roth Wilson in 2022. She holds a degree in Psychology and Certified Public Accounting. She enjoyed flower arranging, canning, making “specialty food dishes’ for family, vacationing in Ludington, Michigan & the Chicago Cubs (Cubbies). Love for her family, friends and cats took center stage in life and her most cherished moments were spending time with them.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Wilson, daughter Patricia Taylor Terhune, son James D. Taylor, grandson Jonathan C. Hess, sister Patricia Roth Archer and her 24yr old cat “Lil Bit”. She is survived by her daughter, Cathie (Angie) Taylor, brother Russell Fretz Roth, grandchildren Jeremy (Jessica) Dewitt, Elizabeth Brauchla, Miranda (Antonio) Edwards, Destiny (Reannon) Terhune-Snead, Dallas Gabbard and Elijah Taylor, and great-grandchildren, Audrianna, Parker, Calvin, Claire, Charlotte, Caroline and Landon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 27, 2025, at noon with visitation from 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
