Virginia Ruth Thomas

age 96, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on May 22, 2015. Virginia was born on March 26, 1919 in Bellefontaine, OH. She worked as an LPN at Community East Hospital. Virginia loved playing bingo and bridge, traveling with her husband, and taking care of her flowers and animals. She was a faithful member of Post Road Christian Church, an ex-CHerry exchange telephone operator, and a member of the Red Hats. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by everyone. The family would like to give special thanks to Greenbriar/Samora Nurses and Aides for all of their caring help over the years, to Heart to Heart Hospice for going out of their way to make her passing easier on her and the family. Also to Dr. Desanto and Dr. Kevin Coss for the excellent care they gave her thru the years. Virgina is survived by her children; Stanley Thomas, Donald (Patricia) Thomas, and Chris (John) Freeborn; 5 grandchildren and 3 great. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Chester; her parents John and Bernice (Bloxham) Frymier; her sister, Patricia Clouse; and her brother, Herald Frymier.
