Virginia R Adams

Virginia Rose Adams 83, of McCordsville, IN passed away May 2, 2012. She was born December 15, 1928 in Vigo County, Indiana to the late Leroy and Mary Doyal. She graduated from Otter Creek High School. Mrs. Adams retired in 1997 from the United States Postal Service after 12 years of dedicated service. She also worked in the jewelry department at Macy's Glendale. She was a faithful member of Unity North Truth Center. She was preceded in death by husband: Elza V. Adams, daughter: Marsha Walker, siblings: Robert Doyal, Helen Yarber Corn, Ruth Wells, Sarah Thompson, grandson: Tom Charles Walker and great grandson- Taylor Ray Adams. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, children: William "Bill" Adams (Lynda) Roachdale,IN, Janice L. Beene, McCordsville, IN and Elza Leroy Adams (Mary) Midland, GA; sisters: Mary Callecod, Terre Haute, IN and Margaret Hastings, Seattle, WA; grandchildren: Steve, Jonathon, and Michael Walker, and Will Adams, Melissa Roberts (Rodney), Frankfort, IN and Lora Beene Ashley (Graham), Megan Adams and Cara Horn, Indianapolis, IN 6 great grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends. Friends may call Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 12-2pm in Flanner and Buchanan-Washing ton Park East 10722 East Washington Street. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 11:00 am in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Terre Haute, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Disabled American Veterans.
