Virginia M. Albright

Virginia “Ginny” (Shelton) Albright, 89, formerly of Indianapolis and Burnsville, North Carolina, passed away on May 18, 2023. She was born in Bee Log, North Carolina on May 21, 1933, and was residing in Ely, Minnesota.

She was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family, including her many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always quick with a hug and a smile and could keep everyone on their toes with a sassy response. She worked for many years at RCA in Indianapolis where she made lifelong friends in addition to years of working with her daughter in the medical billing field.

She is survived by her children Nancy (Nick) Catanella of Las Vegas and Paul Michael (Diane) Myers of Ely, Minnesota, stepchildren Judy (Bill) Greene, Elizabeth Smith, Daniel (Carol) Albright, Melisa (Kyle) Blocker, David (Alan Burrell) Albright and sister Shirley Silvers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Albright in 2019, son Jim Myers, 4 brothers and 4 step grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11 – 12 pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East followed by the funeral services. Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.
