Virginia Lee Trent

Virginia Lee Trent, 79, of Plainfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was born in Linton, IN on July 21, 1934 to Charlie Shears and Elnor (McCoy) Babb. Virginia worked as a receiving clerk for Wal-Mart for 15 years, retiring in 2000. She also enjoyed playing Bingo as often as she could. Virginia is survived by her children, Sharyn Curry, Steven Trent, Marvin Trent, Lory Burkert; 12 grandchildren , 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Trent (2009); son, Robert Trent (1987); daughter and grandson, Karen Mills and Robert Mills, Jr. (1977). Virginia was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Patterson and brother, Ernie Shears. Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2 to 6pm.
