Virginia J Crockett

Virginia J. (O'Reilly) Crockett 92 of Indianapolis, died November 24, 2012. Virginia was born on September 06, 1920 in Indianapolis to Raymond Joseph and Mildred Marion (Heyl) O'Reilly. Virginia was a very long time parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and she was a former Girl Scout leader, member of the Guardian Angel Guild and Women's Club. She was also very active with C.Y.O. and she received the St. John Bosco Award and Msgr. Busald Award. Virginia was a secretary for 18 years at Cardinal Ritter High School. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband James Musselman Crockett and her daughter Barbara Alveal. Virginia is survived by her children, Sylvia H., Cynthia A. (Steve) Mazelin, Stephen J. (Patti), Christopher A., M. Shannon, Leslie A. (John) Lentz, and son-in-law Bruno Alveal, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Calling will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church from 4:30 to 7:30 PM followed by the funeral mass on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at 10 AM. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North are handling arrangements.
